Earthquake Analysis
Earthquake Analysis is a web-based application designed to analyze and visualize earthquake activity patterns across provinces in Indonesia, with particular attention to the Megathrust zones.
Earthquake Analysis is a web-based application designed to analyze and visualize earthquake activity patterns across provinces in Indonesia, with particular attention to the Megathrust zones. The system processes historical earthquake data from sources such as USGS and BMKG, allowing users to explore earthquake records through filters based on date, magnitude, depth, and province. It applies DBSCAN clustering to group earthquake events based on geographical density and the Apriori algorithm to identify association patterns between seismic activities across different regions. The results are presented through interactive earthquake maps, clustering visualizations, and association diagrams, helping users understand regional seismic patterns and relationships. The application is intended to support earthquake data exploration and research, rather than predict future earthquakes.
